On 12-18-2016 at approximately 4:12 a.m., Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 23000 block of Quail Lane (Fort Bragg, California) where Kenneth Partridge was attempting to gain unlawful entry inside a residence.Deputies arrived approximately 20-minutes later and contacted Partridge in the driveway at the location. Deputies also contacted a 41 year-old adult male who resides at the location.
During an investigation into the incident, Deputies learned the adult male was woken by Partridge attempting to gain entry inside the residence through an exterior door and window. Partridge also attempted to gain access inside the adult male’s vehicle, which was parked at the location. Partridge had no association to the property.
Partridge was arrested for attempted burglary and searched incident to that arrest. During that search, Deputies found Partridge in possession of hypodermic syringes and approximately 8.9-grams (gross weight) of what field-tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine.
Partridge was additionally charged for being in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Partridge was also charged with violation of probation after it was determined he was on active summary probation for burglary.
Partridge was booked into the Mendocino County Jail where he was to be held in lieu of $55,000.00 bail.
