MENDOCINO Co. 1/11/17 — Here’s what we know about currently planned school closures for Wednesday, Jan. 11 due to storm impacts. Most information is taken from Facebook. Any changes should be announced there, as well as local radio stations, and many districts will contact parents by telephone if there are schedule changes. We were unable to collect information from all schools, please let us know if there’s information we’re missing!
Laytonville Unified: “We will send out a call by 6:30am if school is cancelled.”
Willits Unified: “Willits Unified Schools District will be on a 2 hour delay for Wed. Jan. 11, 2017. This means that all bus pick-ups and school start times are going to be two hours later than normal. School will still be dismissed at the same time. Mark Westerburg, Supt. of Schools.”
Leggett Valley/Whale Gulch: closed for the day.
Willits Elementary Charter: will post on Facebook.
Sherwood school: Delayed until 10:30 am.
Round Valley Unified and Eel River Charter School: closed for the day.
Ukiah Unified: “Ukiah Unified School District Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 11. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but student safety is our primary concern. We plan to resume school on Thursday, January 12. If this changes, you will be notified through another telephone call. Please also stay tuned through our Facebook page, the UUSD website, and local radio stations. Stay safe.”
