MENDOCINO Co. 3/23/2017 — Nothing new on the roads this morning. Here’s a roundup of the major ongoing construction:
One of four lanes on the 101 from 271 to 1.5 mile south of the Humboldt county line is still closed. There is still one-way traffic on the 101 north of Leggett half a mile north of Dora Creek Bridge. Hwy 1 is still fully closed at Leggett from Mill Bank Resort to South Fort Eel River. There is still drainage work on 162 at The Middle Way near Indian Springs Dos Rios.

There is a small craft advisory at sea today, with southerly gales expected this afternoon and into the evening. South winds at sea are 10 to 20 knots with gusts up to about 35 knots. The waves are west 7 feet 12 seconds. Tonight, the southeast winds should increase to 15 to 25 knots with gusts up 40 knots. Waves are expected to be 10 feet at 10 seconds, and west 4 feet at 14 seconds. Rain at sea tonight.
In Point Arena today, there is a 20% chance of rain and patchy fog before 11am, with a high around 55. Rain tonight, with a low around 50.
In Fort Bragg, there is a 30% chance of rain and patchy fog before noon. High near 56, partial sunshine. Rain tonight, with a low around 47.
In Willits, there is a 20% chance of rain, with patchy fog before noon. Then it should be mostly sunny, up to 57. Rain tonight, with a low of about 43.
In Ukiah, It should be mostly sunny, after some patchy fog before noon. The high is expected to be 60, dropping to 45 tonight. Rain is expected tonight in Ukiah.
