MENDOCINO Co., 12/5/16 — The week is off to a slow start with road work. One of two lanes of the 101 at the CalFire station in Leggett is still closed due to emergency work, still due to be finished on January 31, 2017.
Likewise, one of two lanes on the 101 north of Cloverdale, from 1.5 miles north of Comminsky Station Road to north of Frog Woman Rock, is closed due to miscellaneous work expected to be done December 31.
AT&T received a permit for utility repairs On Highway 101 just north of Feliz Bridge at mile marker 10.9. There should be 5-minute traffic delays from 8am to 5pm.
At mile marker 5 on Highway 101, bridge deck repairs at the Korean War veterans Memorial Bridge are expected to continue, with traffic restricted to one lane in both directions, 7am to 11pm weekdays.
Beginning Wednesday, December 7, Caltrans will begin routing maintenance on Highway 101 from Hewlitt and Sturtevant Road to Hopland CalFire. One-way traffic delays are expected to cause 10-minute delays from 9am to 4pm weekdays.
Bridge work on the South Willits Overhead on Highway 101 continues, with northbound traffic restricted 24 hours a day , seven days a week.
There will also be 24/7 one-way traffic control on the 101 just south of Standish-Hickey State Park, as emergency slide repairs continue.
Continuing bridge deck repairs on Route at 1 Brush Creek, mile marker 20.8, with 5-minute delays 7am to 11pm weekdays.
Pavement repairs on Route 20, mile marker 33.2-39.2 from the North Calpella Overcrossing to Cold Creek Bridge #3 are expected to continue, with one-way traffic control from 6pm to 10am weekdays causing 20-minute delays.
