Route 101 is closed from State Route 1 to 271 at Piercy.

MENDOCINO Co., — Both lanes of Route 101 are closed at mile marker 97.10, from Route 1 to Route 271 at Piercy. This is around 6 miles north of Leggett.

At around 1:00am, CHP requested signs for the north and south ends of Bell Springs Road, advising that only residents would be permitted to drive on Bell Springs Road, and that no semi trucks would be permitted, “So we don’t have semis using the road like last time Confusion Hill slide closed 101,” according to the CHP request.

Today, at sea, south winds are blowing 10 to 20 knots, with waves south 8 feet at 6 seconds and south 2 feet at 15 seconds. Winds are expected to stay the same, with waves south 5 feet at 5 seconds and southwest 4 feet at 12 seconds. Rain is likely at sea today and tomorrow.

In Point Arena, there is a 50% chance of rain today. The high is expected to be around 57, dipping to 52 tonight. A south southeast wind will blow 11 to 14 miles per hour, gusting up to 20 miles per hour and shifting to the south tonight.

In Fort Bragg, there is a 60% chance of rain after 11am. The high is expected to be around 60, dropping to 48 tonight. The south wind will blow steadily from 9 to 13 miles per hour into the night.

In Willits, there is also a 60% chance of rain after 11am. The high is expected to be around 59, dropping to 46 tonight. A calm wind will become south and blow 5 to 8 miles per hour steadily into the night.
In Ukiah, there is a 40% chance of rain after 11am. The high is expected to be around 63, dropping to 50 tonight. A light southeast wind will shift to the south southwest tonight, blowing around 3 to 7 miles per hour.
