MENDOCINO Co., 4/28/2017 — The slide on the 101 north of Leggett is still active, which could delay the reopening of the road. CalTrans is still optimistic about opening the road this weekend.
There is one-way traffic control for about a mile on the 101 at Hermitage Vista Point, slightly south of the closure. There is a hard closure on Bell Springs Road,
There is one-way traffic on Route 162 at The Middle Mile and at Sand Bank Creek.
There is one-way traffic on Route 128 at two locations, one at Beebe Creek Road and another 2.7 miles west of Cloverdale Blvd.
There is one-way traffic on Route 175 near the entrance to Motorcycle Park and at Buckman Drive.
High winds and mild temps today:
High northerly winds and steep seas today. The northwest winds are 15 to 25 knots today, expected to shift to the north tonight. Waves are north 7 feet at 8 seconds and west 5 feet at 12 seconds, shifting tonight to north 7 feet at 7 seconds and northwest 4 feet at 12 seconds.
In Point Arena, the forecast is sunny, with a high around 56, dropping to 47 tonight. The north northwest wind is expected to blow 17 to 26 miles per hour, with gusts up to 34 miles per hour. Winds will increase to 20 to 25 miles per hour tonight, then decresae to 11 to 16 miles per hour after midnight.

Route 1 (1.5) AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility repairs near Pacific Wood Road beginning Monday, May 1. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P1AA
Route 1 (33.9) Arjay Rafferty has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit to pave a driveway near Philo Greenwood Road beginning Monday, May 1. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P1AA
Route 1 (103.4) – Emergency slide removal near Leggett will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C1VA
Route 20 (35.6/37.3) – Bridge deck repairs at the East Fork Russian River Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect overnight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 25-minute delays. LC#C20WA
Route 101 (4.5/5.0) – Routine maintenance near Frog Woman Rock will continue. Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#M101GA
Route 101 (30.7) – Caltrans will perform routine maintenance at the junction of Routes 101/20 near Calpella on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 2 and 3. A full closure of the onramp from Moore Street to northbound Route 101 and the connector ramp from northbound Route 101 to eastbound Route 20 will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists will be directed to use an alternate route. Route 101 (42.3) – Emergency slide repairs on the westbound Route 20 to southbound Route 101 connector ramp will continue. Intermittent ramp closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C101CD
Route 101 (85.9/86.1) – Emergency slide removal near Hermitage Vista Point will continue. Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101LD
Route 101 (97.1) – Emergency slide removal near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. The highway is fully closed until further notice. Motorists should seek an alternate route. LC#C101KD
Route 101 (103.8/105.4) – Emergency slide removal near Piercy will continue. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101AD
Route 128 (36.6/41.3) – Roadway repairs from Fish Rock Road to Yorkville will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C128KA
