MENDOCINO Co. 4/6/2017 — There is one-way traffic on Route 128 from Fish Rock Road to the Yorkville post office, due to signal work.
At around 1:00 this morning, California Highway Patrol received a report of a chair on the western offramp of State Route 253 at U.S. Highway 101.
High winds on the coasts and mountaintops are expected later on today, as storm #1 segues into storm #2:
Gale force winds are expected at sea today. Southeast winds are blowing 15 to 25 knots, gusting up to 35, then blowing 25 to 35 with gusts up to 45. Waves south are rising to 8 feet at 6 seconds and west 12 feet at 13 seconds. Tonight, the southeast winds are expected to be 30 to 35 knots, subsiding slightly to south 20 to 30 knots, still gusting up to 45 knots, then slacking off a little to 40 knots. Waves are expected to south 12 feet at 7 seconds and west 9 feet at 13 seconds. There is a chance of thunderstorms at sea tonight.

A southeast wind is expected to increase throughout the day, blowing 13 to 18 miles per hour, then 20 to 25 in the afternoon, shifting to south southwest tonight with gusts up to 39 miles per hour.
