MENDOCINO Co. 4/7/2017 — There are numerous power outages around the county, with the largest number of customers affected in Caspar, Leggett, the town of Mendocino, Westport, and Willits. According to PG&E’s outage map early this morning, 16 customers in Gualala were out of power. The Mendocino office of emergency services reported that the number of customers with no power north of Gualala was as high as 624 last night. That number was down to 226 by around 9pm. An outage on Booneville Road just south of Ukiah last night appears to have been caused by a broken cross arm and wire. The sheriff reported that a repair crew had been assigned some time last night.
As of around 6:30am, there were rocks and limbs in the road on State Route 128, between Flynn Creek and Highway 1. This may involve a power pole, as the California Highway Patrol report indicates that AT&T was advised of the matter.
