MENDOCINO Co., 5/23/2017 — Road work continues in Mendocino County, with the addition of paving on Route 20 from Highway 101 in Calpella to Road 260 in Redwood Valley.
California Highway Patrol had a report early this morning of a dead skunk in the road on Highway 101, on the on-ramp to Route 253.
One of four lanes on the 101 from Route 271 to 1.5 miles south of the Humboldt County line remains closed.
One-way traffic continues on the 101, half a mile north of Dora Creek Bridge.
One of four lanes on the 101 from Cedar Creek Bridge to Scandia is still closed.
One-way traffic on the 101 from mile marker 86 to Hermitage Vista Point continues today.
There are still two one-way traffic operations on Route 162, one at The Middle Way and the other at Sand Bank Creek.
There is also two continuing one-way traffic operations on Route 1, one about a quarter mile south of Soldier’s Point Viaduct near Hardy, and the other half a mile south of Wages Creek Bridge, between DeHaven and Westport.
One of the southbound lanes of the 101 from Ridgewood Ranch Road to the emergency vehicle turnaround remains closed.
One-way traffic on Route 175 continues at two sites, one near Buckman drive and one near the entrance of Motorcycle Park.
There is also one-way traffic on the 128 at two points, one of them .7 mile west of Beebe Creek, due to roadway excavation. Pile driving continues on Route 128, 2.8 miles west of Cloverdale Blvd.

In Ukiah, the forecast is sunny, with a high around 95, dropping to 53 tonight. A west southwest wind will blow 5 to 8 miles per hour this afternoon, then shift to the west this afternoon.
