MENDOCINO Co., — Shortly before 7am, California Highway Patrol received a report of a sedan, 120 feet down the embankment off of Highway 101 near the truck scales just outside of Willits. An ambulance was en route.
Shortly after 7am, CHP received a report of a Ford Bronco “20 feet over the embankment against a tree” off of Highway 101 at mile marker 57.5, about midway between Willits and Laytonville. Injuries were unknown.
Just after 7:30, CHP received a report of llamas in the road at the 7500 block of Uva Drive in Redwood Valley.
One of two southbound lanes of the 101 is closed from Ridgewood Ranch Road to the emergency turnaround, due to emergency work.
One-way traffic operations continue on Highway 101 six miles north of Leggett. There is also one-way traffic on the 101 .37 miles south of Bridges Creek Bridge.
One of four lanes on the 101 from Route 271 to 1.5 miles south of the Humboldt County line is closed. One of two lanes of the 101 near Hermitage Vista Point is closed. There is one-way traffic on the 101 half a mile north of Dora Creek Bridge.
Two one-way traffic operations continue on Route 162 at The Middle way and near Sand Bank Creek.
One-way traffic on Route 175, near the entrance of Motorcycle Park and at Buckman Drive continues.
There are two continuing one-way traffic operations on Route 128, one .7 miles west of Beebe Creek and another 2.7 miles west of Cloverdale Blvd.
Gale force conditions and steep northerly seas are in the forecast for this weeked. Today, northwest winds are 15 to 25 knots, with gusts up to 35 knots. Winds will shift tonight to the north, and increase to 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 40. Waves are northwest building to 8 feet at 7 seconds and northwest 6 feet at 13 seconds. There is a chance of showers at sea today.

In Ukiah, the forecast is mostly sunny, with a high around 69, dropping to 44 tonight. A northwest wind is expected to blow 7 to 15 miles per hour and increase tonight, to 14 to 17 miles per hour.
