Amtrak bus and pickup collide in Laytonville, Highway 101 southbound lane blocked

A tow truck is on the way, and no injuries are being reported.

MENDOCINO CO., 7/12/17 — The southbound lane of Highway 101 is currently blocked after an Amtrak bus and a Toyota pickup collided in Laytonville around 9:30pm this evening. According to CHP reports there do not appear to be any injuries from bus passengers, and Kym Kemp reports an ambulance is on the scene.

The accident took place around Long Valley Lumber just south of the intersection of Highway 101 and Harwood Road, according to the CHP incident report. A tow truck has been called from Ukiah, as of around 9:45pm.
