MENDOCINO Co., 4/20/18 — Going somewhere? We all are, so here’s a list of the roadwork planned for the upcoming week — there may up to ten minute delays on certain routes so you might want to plan your trips accordingly.
CalTrans sends out information on continuing and upcoming roadwork in the county, which we have reproduced here, lightly edited for relevance and timeliness.

The roadwork in bold indicates a change in roadwork from last week. Here’s where CalTrans will be working around the county, posted below. You can see all the roadwork for CalTrans district one here.
Route 1
- mile marker 4.8 – Pavement work north of Sunset Drive will occur on Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C1DB
- mile marker 38 – Emergency work a mile south of Navarro Bluff Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C1CB
- mile marker 46.8/47 – AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work a half a mile south of the Little River Airport on Monday, April 23, Tuesday, April 24, and Wednesday, April 25. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P1AA
- mile marker 55 – Electrical work near Caspar Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C1BB
Route 101
- mile marker 3.1/5.94 – Slide repairs from Comminsky Station Road to the Pieta Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C101AE
- mile marker 23.4 – Pavement work at the Route 222 southbound offramp will continue. The ramp will be fully closed. Motorists should find an alternate route. LC#C101QE
- mile marker 33/38.5 – Emergency work south of Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions. Motorist should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#T101EA
- mile marker 33.9/41.2 – Drainage work north of Uva Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays. LC#C101KE
Route 101 (96) – Emergency work south of the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C101KD
Route 101 (103.8/105.3) – Emergency work north of Piercy will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101AD
Route 128 (0-0.5) – Emergency work near the 1 junction will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C128RA
Route 128 (38.4/40.8) – Emergency work from Hibbard Road to Big Oaks Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C128PA
Route 162 (16.5) – Wall work at The Middle Way will continue. One-way traffic control with temporary stop signs will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C162OA
Route 175 (6.3/8.7) – Emergency work east of the entrance to Motorcycle Park will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C175HA
Route 253 (16.1) – PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work east of Stipp Lane on Wednesday, April 25 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P253CA
Route 271 (22.6) – PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work north of the South Fork Eel River Bridge on Thursday, April 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P271BA
