  1. Because I don’t have a commerical (state inspected) kitchen the jams and sweet breads I make at home can not be sold to the public at the local Mom & Pop stores.

If there was a “public commercial kitchen ” would I beable rent some time and make the products there?

    • Hi Liz,
Yes, this is exactly what we want to build! We want to help support makers just like YOU. The idea is that this kitchen would be available to rent as needed, some folks would use it full-time, others may just need it seasonally. All users will need to have the basics required to operate a food business, things like a food handlers certificate / liability insurance / business license.

Please fill out the survey. We’d love to hear from you!

Yes, that is exactly what we want to do. We want to make it possible for people like you to have access to a commercial kitchen. Some folks may need it full-time, other seasonally. All users will need to have documents like food handlers certificate / liability insurance / business license – but the main hurdle of building out a commercial kitchen would be removed.
