WILLITS, 2/7/19 — The Black Futures Society will be hosting a Black History Month celebration at the Little Lake Grange in Willits on Saturday, Feb. 9, featuring workshops, panel discussions film screenings, dance performances, an open mic, a raffle, and more. The family-friendly event begins at 3 p.m. on Saturday and will continue until 8 p.m., with music and dancing after dinner, food provided by the Zocalo Collective. Suggested donation is $10 but no one will be turned away for lack of funds; dinner tickets can be purchased at a number of locations and online.

In celebration of Black History Month and the contributions of the African Diaspora to the world, the Black Futures Society presents an evening of art, education, music, dance, food and fun for both children and adults. The suggested donation is $10 per family and of course, no one will be turned away. Soul Food Dinner tickets are $20 in advance and can be purchased at J.D.
