Digital ad sales associate job description:
The ideal candidate possesses a sales background with strong communication and interpersonal skills. We’re looking for an individual who isn’t afraid of cold calling, making presentations to high-level executives, attending networking events, and developing lasting client relationships.
Our digital ad sales associate will work with new and current clients to assist them with their online advertising and promotional needs.
Among the job duties:
Identify prospective clients and establish relationships to convert new clients into advertisers.
Assist with developing advertising and marketing strategies to address client challenges, including coordinating with designers and clients to develop campaigns. Write and present business proposals both electronically and in person to potential and existing clients. Produce timely marketing presentations and analytics for both new and renewal accounts and coordinate production of website advertising. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals consistently.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have a background in sales and marketing, but we’re willing to train the right candidate — and there is also room to grow.
We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who works well with others as well as independently, and has ideas about how to help local businesses succeed. Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills, be highly professional and Internet savvy.
Experience with business development, graphic design, web design, or with media/publications is a plus.
