The applications will be open until September 30, 2019, and you can apply at www.usajobs.gov. There open positions are in archaeology, wildlife, hydrology, and biology based in Upper Lake, and Willows, and positions in forestry or “fire” positions based in Covelo, Elk Creek, Paskenta, Stonyford, and Upper Lake.

WILLOWS, Calif., Sept. 16, 2019 — The Mendocino National Forest has various temporary fire and non-fire employment vacancies for the 2020 field season. The vacancy announcements open Sept. 16, 2019 and close Sept. 30, 2019.
The non-fire positions are available in multiple fields, including archaeology, wildlife, hydrology and biology and range in grade from GS-05 to GS-07. These positions are available in Willows and Upper Lake.
The forestry aid and forestry technician or “fire” positions range in grade from GS-03 to GS-05. The work locations include Covelo, Elk Creek, Paskenta, Stonyford, and Upper Lake.
