Kate Maxwell lives in northern Mendocino County, and has worked as a reporter for several local papers and community radio stations. She attended Brown University and Reed College, and has published in The Fader, The North Coast Journal and the Willits News, as well as other northern California media outlets. She visits the ocean as often as possible.

Adrian Fernandez Baumann is managing editor of The Mendocino Voice. His work has appeared in the Bloomberg Businessweek, the East Bay Express, AJ+, The Willits News, the Ukiah Daily Journal and other Northern California newspapers. He has also worked as a television producer for CNN. Before becoming a journalist he worked as a plumber, carpenter, waiter, fisherman, sheet metal fabricator, substitute teacher, census taker, English teacher, and once walked 500 miles, from Los Angeles to San Francisco. He graduated with a degree in Anthropology from UC Berkeley and attended Columbia Journalism School.
Sarah Reith is a staff writer for the Mendo Voice. She previously worked for the Ukiah Daily Journal, The Willits News, and hosted a show on KZYX.
Jessie Sgouros is the Mendocino Voice’s current web developer and administrator. She has been a graphic and web designing for local businesses and events three years. She’s done website/design work for Mendocino Transit Authority, the Black Bart Gunfighter charity group and Gateway Games.
