New search operation underway at Hart Crash site

MENDOCINO Co., 4/9/18 — The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting further searches for the remains the remaining victims of the tragic Hart Family vehicle crash today, near the crash site. They will deploy a team of 10 search and rescue personnel at around 11 a.m. (low tide) with aerial assistance from the California Highway Patrol. The body of a black female, of indeterminate age, was found Saturday, but positive identification is pending a DNA test. For more details, and information from and interview with Lt.
