The public is invited to meet Ashes the arson dog and learn about what to do in the event of a wildfire.

BROOKTRAILS, 5/26/2017 — The Brooktrails fire department is hosting an educational event about what to do in the event of a wildfire. Here’s a press release, with details and contact info:

The Brooktrails Fire Department will host a Wildfire Preparedness Open House on Saturday, June 10th 2017 from 10am to 1pm at the Brooktrails Fire Station, 24860 Birch Street.

Representatives from various Public Safety agencies will be on hand to discuss and answer questions regarding what to do before, during and after a wildfire in our community. You will also have the opportunity to meet “Ashes” the Arson K-9, view fire equipment and meet your local Firefighters. Free Hot Dogs will also be served.
